Blank Space started with a simple idea: create a place where people can do something different together. A place that feels just as fun for adults as it does for kids, where you don't need to be an artist or know exactly what you're making before you begin.

Blank Space is an interactive splatter-paint studio in Mason, Ohio, where kids, adults, families, friends, and groups create their own artwork by throwing, spraying, and splattering paint onto canvases. You don't need to know how to paint—you just need to be ready to have some fun.

A Note From The Founder
Hi, I’m Lia.
Â
Between work, kids, schedules, responsibilities, and everything else life throws at us, I started thinking about how hard it can be to simply slow down and enjoy the people we're with.

I wanted Blank Space to be a place that makes that a little easier—a place to put your phones down, try something different, make a mess, laugh, and just enjoy being together.
​
And you don't have to be an artist. I'm certainly not. That's part of what I love about it. There isn't a right way to do this, and whatever you create is completely your own.

Whether you're here with your kids, celebrating something, on a date, or spending time with friends, I hope you leave with more than a canvas. I hope you leave having genuinely enjoyed the time you spent together.
